The slippers were so well-loved by family and friends that what began as a hobby soon became a small production of two pairs a day—the start of Glerups. Nanny and her husband, Ove, worked tirelessly to perfect their slippers, experimenting with various machines and tools to keep up with the growing demand for these cosy indoor shoes.
