Laura Stoddart

Laura Stoddart knew from the age of eleven that she wanted to be an illustrator. Inspired by nature, antiques, and vintage fashion, she would go on to develop her signature style – delicately dressed figures carrying oversized flowers, balloons, and gifts. After studying at Brighton University and the Royal College of Art, she launched her career with a remarkable debut: a commission from the Royal Mail to design the 1996 Christmas stamps, making her the youngest professional artist ever to create a stamp collection.
